Celes with Magicite

[Celes, Final Fantasy VI]

I drew this to go along with a fanfic I'm slowly but surely writing... (I'm not a committed fanfic writer, but I'm really trying to get this one done!) Here her outfit is based on Amano's design but clearly not followed exactly. This scene takes place in the Phoenix Cave; it's gotta be damn hot in there, hence extraneous accessories are removed and hair is pulled back... Really, as I'd imagined the picture, you could tell it was in a very hot setting as her skin would be glistening with sweat, but I guess I don't shade in such a way that would allow that to be apparent.

Self-crit: I realize her pose is a bit stiff; it's something to work on. I'm sure there are proportional issues as well. I'd also intended her expression to be more surprised than sultry, but I guess then it makes for a sexy picture, haha ^_^;

Quality notes: I'm not too happy with the scanner I have to use at school (I miss my nice big one at home on the other side of the world), so I apologize for the image quality not being the best. There's only so much time I'm willing to put into fixing it in Photoshop...
